2010 Native Plant Sale 24-27 September will be held as part of the Festival Of Kings Park.

Over 15,000 plants will be offered at the sale.

Volunteers are required for this important event.  Please visit the volunteer section for more details.

Acacia browniana var. browniana Attractive small shrub. Grows 1-2 m high x 1-2 m wide. Fine, feathery, dark green foliage. Abundant yellow ball-shaped flowers from July-October. Well-drained light to medium soils in partial sun to dappled shade. Phytophthora resistant.

Acacia drummondii subsp. elegans Drummond’s Wattle Very attractive medium shrub. Grows 1-2m high x 1-2 m wide. Soft dark green foliage. Bright gold rod-shaped flowers from July-September. Well-drained light to medium soils in semi-shade or full sun. Tip prune after flowering.

Acacia ephedroides Attractive medium upright shrub with ‘Minni-ritchi’ peeling bark. Grows 2-4 m high x 2-3 m wide. Long pine-like phyllodes. Golden rod-like flowers borne en masse along branches. August-September. Well-drained soils in sunny location.

Acacia leptalea Chinocup Wattle Attractive small to medium shrub, up to 1.7 m high x 2 m wide. Globular yellow flowers are abundant on outer branchlets. Flowers July-October. Grows in sandy-loamy soils in full sun. Conservation status: Declared Rare.
