Office Carers

The Office Carers report to the Office Administrator and meet on the last Thursday of each month (except for December) at the Lodge (located at the corner of Kings Park Road and Fraser Avenue) to prepare the Friends newsletter and magazine for mailing to the members.

Ten to twelve Office Carers meet to carry out this valuable task, which involves collating, labelling and enveloping the papers to be sent out. Many long term friendships have been formed amongst the group and new members are always welcome.

The volunteers usually meet at 9.30 am and the work is generally finished by 11.30 am (including a tea break).

Occasionally additional assistance is requested for one-off tasks and this would be advertised in the Friends newsletter in advance.
